For Products
How long do I have to wait for products to arrive? We normally dispatch the ordered goods within just 48 hours of ordering during normal working days (Monday to Friday). Please allow another 3 to 4 working days for delivery. All our products are dispatched using First Class post. Since we operate from Guernsey, we are afraid we cannot offer you a next day delivery service. If, on the other hand, you reside in Guernsey, we will be obliged to keep your products at our reception for personal collection in the afternoon (provided you submit your order before 10 am).
How long should I wait before I report a missing item? Normally items take just 3 to 4 working days to arrive, however, we have had the odd item that strayed in the post but found its way home after a fortnight!!
I order a product and received something different. What do I do? This can be reported in three different ways.

How do I cancel an order? We process the orders from the previous day at 8am each morning. If you find that you have ordered the wrong item, the quickest way to cancel is by phoning customer care before that time. Our working hours are from 8am till 4.30pm. Should you leave it too late to cancel, you can return the product within 30 days. Return the items to: Directfoto, Freepost, Guernsey, GY1 5BR. We will give you a full refund upon receipt as long as the package is intact.
I received a faulty item. What do I do? Follow the instructions carefully. If you still believe the item is faulty, please phone our customer care. They might be able to assist you further with any technical problems. If the product is received damaged, please return it to the Freepost address enclosing a covering note.
I received the wrong item. What do I do? Please return the item to our Freepost address with a covering note and a copy of your invoice.
I asked for a refund. How long will it take to get my money back? We normally process refunds upon receipt of the returned items. It should not take longer than 30 days to get your money back.
I require a partial refund of my order. What are your procedures? Please call customer care for further instructions.
Can I get further discounts on large orders? Despite the fact that our items are already discounted, we may allow further discounts on any of our items. For more information you are asked to email us on sales@directfoto.co.uk.
For Film Processing and Digital print
How long before I report a missing film? Please allow 7 to 10 working days for delivery.
How can I contact you? You can get in touch with us either by phone on 01481 239729, by email on sales@directfoto.co.uk, or by letter addressed to: Freepost, Guernsey, GY1 5BR.
What information do I need to provide? Your name and address (including postcode), the date when you submitted your order, and whether your cheque has been cashed, or your card debited
I have received wrong photos or CD but correct negatives. What do I do? Please return the photos or CD to the freepost address, together with a covering note and negatives. We will rectify the order as quickly as possible.
I have received wrong photos and negatives. What do I do? Please return the incorrect photos, negatives and packaging to the freepost address with a covering letter giving a description of the missing photos. We will try to locate your missing prints as soon as possible.
I have sent you a reprint or a digital print order by post and have received the wrong prints. What do I do? Please return the prints and negatives, memory card or CD to the Freepost address. Should you send us a negative, please enclose a covering note describing which image you want reprinted. We will reprint the order as quickly as possible.
I am unhappy with the quality of my photos. What do I do? We endeavour to provide the best possible results. IN case you are not satisfied with the quality, please return your negatives, memory card or CD to our Freepost address enclosing a few sample prints and a covering letter.
