About Us
Directfoto was established in 1982, and is a leading photofinishing laboratory. Directfoto uses all Kodak materials and provides a high quality Mail-order Developing and Printing Service to the UK. Directfoto also specialises in providing bespoke processing services to many leading UK companies such as Sears, Daily Telegraph, Freeman’s, Virgin, Radio Times, AA and Orange to name a few.
Directfoto is digitally enabled and can now provide photographs from all digital media. One of the functions of this site is to provide FREE software for you to download, to enable you to forward your digital images over the net to us to process into real photographs. This website also enables us to sell premium branded consumable products to you at leading prices in the UK by passing on the large discounts we already receive with our bulk purchasing power in the core developing business.

Our Services and Payment
Film Processing-Simply print out an order form, fill it in and send in an envelope along with your film(s) and payment to Directfoto, FREEPOST, Guernsey. GY1 5BR (no stamp required).
Digital Image Processing- Download the software provided or use the html upload tool in the “Digital Prints Online” section and then follow the instructions enclosed in the software. (Please note minimum order of £1.50).
Or
Send your Memory Card or a CD with your images burned on to us at our FREEPOST address. Simply print out and complete the order form from the “Digital Prints by Post” section and send it in along with your payment and images.
Online Shop
Browse through Directfoto Shop’s pages; enter the quantity of a product you wish to purchase and then CLICK on the “BUY” button to order. You can check your order at anytime as the Shopping basket will appear at the top of each Shop page. When you have finished selecting all your purchases, simply CLICK “CHECKOUT” in the basket and fill in the important details needed to ensure that your order can be processed and shipped.
We accept these major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Duet, Delta, Switch/Solo & Visa Electron), Cheques or Postal Orders for all orders made by post (please write your name and address on the back of cheques and postal orders and make payable to Directfoto).
For internet orders, if your Browser is unable to accept our system you can either Phone, Fax or send a Cheque or Postal Order in the post along with your order.

Delivery Time
Directfoto uses 1st Class Royal Mail from Guernsey (Channel Islands) and aim to dispatch your order within 2 working days of us receiving it. Please allow 7-14 working days for delivery from the date of dispatch. Our tracking tests show that 95% of goods reach our customers within 7 days of dispatch.
Please note around Mothers Day, Easter, Christmas etc… delays may occur due to the increase in the post volumes throughout the UK.
If goods have not been received within 14 working days, please contact our customer services on 01481 239729 for help. A postal search will then be instigated and a re-dispatch if necessary.
Back Orders
For Shop Purchases, items likely to be out of stock for more than 5 days will be notified to you by e-mail (this is NOT part of the automated response when ordering). A back-order will then be created for you and the item will be sent to you as soon as it is back in stock. Please note no additional postage charge will be incurred.
You have the option at any reasonable time to cancel the item on back-order if it has not already been dispatched.
Duties & Taxes
Prices shown on the website include all duties due for UK (inc. Rep. of Ireland). The prices displayed are the prices paid.

Orders outside UK & Rep. of Ireland are subject to bank verification of the name and address given. The card will be charged to gain authorisation of sufficient funds and then a name and address check is made. Please note that not all countries provide this confirmation and if the check is declined we will refund the card immediately and you will be notified by e-mail. We will not be responsible for any card/bank charges or differences in exchange rates incurred. Once the transaction is accepted and all requirements met, you will be notified of the total cost (including Post charged at cost) by e-mail. Please make sure your e-mail address is correct.
Product Guarantee
All products are purchased from reputable Wholesalers & Manufacturers and are of new condition. We ask that you please check your products purchased prior to opening as we can only accept returned goods that are in a new and saleable condition.
Returns
Any faulty goods will be replaced or a refund given once the faulty goods have been returned to us. It is advised to obtain proof of postage when returning goods as we cannot accept responsibility if goods are lost in the post.
